The great site is located south of Aswan. Your guide will pick you up at the airport to start your day excursion to Abu Simbel. There are two temples there; both were erected by the famous pharaoh Ramses II in 1240 B.C.The two temples were carved into the mountainside. This one has six statues on its façade, two of them for the queen and four for the king.

You will have enough free time to explore the interior of the temples and enjoy looking at the wall painting and hieroglyphics. Ramses is defeating his enemies and showing himself as a god.
Stare at the huge obelisk in Aswan. In the granite quarry of the city, lying the giant obelisk. It is called the Unfinished Obelisk because it was never erected. It would have measured about 137 feet (42 meters) if completed and is estimated to weigh around 1164 tons. It is believed that the female pharaoh Hatshepsut ordered carving it during the 18th dynasty.

Day 5 : Aswan

Location: Aswan

Accommodation Name: 5 star Nile Cruise

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Philae - Kom Ombo - Edfu
Enjoy a relaxing day tour of Aswan to the temple of Philae. The magnificent Temple was dedicated to the Cult of the Goddess Isis, but it became submerged after the first Aswan dam was built in 1902, and it was not until the sixties that many countries attempted to save the Temple. All these countries, together with UNESCO moved the temple to Agilika Island. The Egyptians built the temple and during the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine eras; every ruler was keen on adding and expanding the temple to show his reverence to the Egyptian deities.
This is one of the unique temples of Egypt. The temple was dedicated to two Egyptian Deities: Horus with the falcon head and Sobek with the crocodile head. The temple has two entrances, one for each of the two gods. The temple is beautifully located on a high mound. This location gives the visitor the chance to enjoy the view of the Nile.
The temple was dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed. The temple of Edfu is the most well-preserved among ancient temples. Your private guide will give you a detailed history of the temple and its reliefs.
5 star Nile Cruise

Day 6 : Luxor

Location: Luxor

Accommodation Name: 5 star Nile Cruise

Luxor - West bank
At the beginning of your tour, you will cross the Nile to the West bank where you will visit the Valley of the Kings. The Pharaohs were hiding their mummies and treasures in this barren desert area. Many of these treasures were found in these beautiful colored tombs. You can visit three tombs to enjoy the colors and murals on the walls. The tombs were carved deep in the mountain rock; you have the option to visit other royal tombs such as Tut Ankh Amun.
Continue your tour on the west bank and drive to the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. She is the first female pharaoh in ancient Egypt who ruled the kingdom for 20 prosperous years. This temple is called El Deir el Bahari as the early Christians used the Northern monastery, as it was a Coptic monastery. Unlike the other temples, this one was built of limestone and partly hewn in the mother bedrock. It has three terraces and its focal point is to tell the story of the Divine birth of the Queen.
The final stop will be at the colossi of Memnon. The Colossi of Memnon are two monumental statues representing king Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt. They are located west of the modern city of Luxor and face east looking toward the Nile River. The statues depict the seated king on a throne with some other carvings of his mother, his wife, the god Hapi, the Nile god, and other symbolic engravings. Both are carved from single blocks of sandstone and the name refers to the Greek hero Memnon who fell in the Trojan War.

Our group of seven, embarked on an extraordinary adventure with "Your Egypt Tours" on the 20th of April, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we were picked up promptly at 8:00 AM, to the final drop-off at our hotel at 7:00 PM, every moment was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. Iman, our exceptional Egyptologist and Tour Leader, captivated us with her deep knowledge and passion for Egyptian history. Her insightful explanations at the Giza Pyramids area provided us with a profound understanding of the ancient wonders we were about to explore. Throughout the day, she ensured that each stop on our itinerary, from the Great Pyramid burial chamber to the Sphinx Area, was not just a visit, but an enriching experience filled with historical context and cultural significance. Safety was paramount at every stage of our journey, and we felt completely at ease thanks to the expert guidance of Iman and the attentive care of our tour chauffeur, Ahmed. The itinerary, meticulously crafted by the team, allowed us to immerse ourselves fully in Egypt's treasures, from the awe-inspiring Giza Pyramids to the fascinating exhibits at the GEM museum. Special mention must be made of the unforgettable moments, such as riding camels at the Panorama Area and experiencing the exhilarating Quad ride in the pyramid's backside area. These unique experiences added an extra layer of excitement to our adventure and will be cherished memories for years to come. Need to mention here that we felt very safe due to the fact that Peter, our Tour Agent, took care of anything we needed during our adventurous Camel & Quad rides. In summary, "Your Egypt Tours" exceeded all expectations, delivering a five-star tour experience that surpassed every benchmark of excellence. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking to explore the wonders of Egypt in comfort, safety, and style. A heartfelt thank you to Iman, for her exceptional leadership, to Peter for seamless coordination, and to Ahmed for ensuring our comfort throughout the journey. We eagerly anticipate our next adventure with "Your Egypt Tours"!"

05-Oct-2022

Wow! We just wrapped up an incredible 2 day visit to Cairo with Your Egypt Tours. This was my partner and I’s first visit to Egypt and we can’t say enough great things about our experience. From start to finish they took care of all of the details of our trip. Mona helped us to select the right itinerary for our short stay in Cairo and was clear, timely, and professional in all of her communication. We were picked up from the airport, guided through the visa and customs process, and rode in a lovely private van to our hotel with the help of Ahmed. Driving in Cairo is no easy feat and our driver Raf made us feel incredibly comfortable. We chose to visit the pyramids our first day and check out Cairo, the Khan el Khalili bazaar, and the Egyptian museum on our second day. Our guide, Mamdouh, was truly incredible. His knowledge, fun attitude, and professionalism made our experience so memorable. He is also a great photographer! Every detail of each day was taken care of including coordinating entrance fees, identifying which local vendors were reputable, and giving us a chance to learn more about the Egyptian culture. Every person we interacted with in the tour group is so welcoming and made us look forward to our next visit to Egypt. If you are looking for the best tour experience on your trip, Your Egypt Tours is it! 10/10.
