Ring of Kerry Walk

Thoroughly enjoyed our walk on the Ring of Kerry. It was definitely challenging and boggy. The recommendation of hiking boots is a must.

10 May 2022

This was such a wonderful adventure. Everything was very organized and the trip notes were very detailed and easy to follow. The scenery was so beautiful although some of the hikes were challenging with muddy tracks and loose rocks. The accommodations were perfect and all the hosts/hostesses were so friendly. As a solo traveller, I felt very welcome and comfortable everywhere I went.

Ring of Kerry Walk

04 Aug 2018

This is the third UTracks self-guided hiking trip we've taken. It was probably the most enjoyable. We went in mid-July. The temperatures were cool, the views were spectacular and the trails well-marked and easy to follow. While we saw a few hikers each day, the trails were otherwise quiet and ours to enjoy. Some of the hiking can be a little grueling, but overall I found it very manageable, and the designation as a "moderate" hike seems fair. I would definitely recommend it; and it made me want to spend more time in the west of Ireland.

Ring of Kerry Walk

13 Jun 2023

Overall a great trip. There were a few section of seal road that were a bit of "why bother". Also, on the shortest walking day, the B&B did not open until 4pm. The notes did not mention this, and we got there at 2.30pm, and then had to walk back to the village to wait for them to open. But otherwise, we enjoyed the scenery and the walking.

Beautiful hiking- particularly the first and last days -moderate difficulty-good idea to take provided car rides, to avoid long road walking - generally very pleasant and comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation.
