Tour Overview
Your Guided Holiday to Piedmont
Travel with us on this holiday to Italy, where the overlooked Piedmont region promises a blend of beautiful landscapes, cultural experiences and culinary delights. During our stay in Turin, our guide will take us on a walking tour of this city, best known for its automobile industry and where Fiat was founded. It also boasts baroque architecture, the National Museum of Cinema or Mole Antonelliana and the Shroud of Turin. We’ll enjoy day trips to the mediaeval hilltop town of Cherasco to savour some chocolate followed by a visit to the city of Bra with cheese tasting. Then we’ll travel to the UNESCO listed city of Alba, famous for its production of white truffles, and from our base there, we’ll visit the historical city of Asti and enjoy tasting Barolo wine known as ‘rei di vin’ or king of wines. There will also be plenty of free time to explore Turin and Alba at our own pace, with recommendations from our local guide.
