After breakfast, depart from the hotel at 7:30 AM to visit the southwest coastal line beach of Sri Lanka. This area is an ideal location with the sea front at Balapitiya and the small cluster of 64 islands. Balapitiya is a coastal town in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka, situated 80 km south of Colombo, about a two-hour drive from the capital. It is the nearest town to the Maduganga River and offers many places to visit. Turtle Hatchery Visit: The Green Turtle is the most commonly found turtle in Sri Lanka. They are also found in the Indian, Pacific, and Atlantic Oceans. Their English name refers to the color of the fat found under their shells. Young Green Turtles are mainly carnivores, while adults are herbivores, feeding only on marine vegetation with the help of their finely serrated jaws. They can grow to a maximum length of 1 meter and weigh up to 250 kg. Adult females lay between 120-140 eggs at one time. Green Turtles are regularly found on the beach at night every few years, laying several times in one season. Madu Ganga River Safari: Madu Ganga is the second largest wetland in Sri Lanka. The estuary spreads over 900 hectares, of which 770 hectares are covered with water, inhabited by 64 islands, 15 of which have larger landmasses. The area is rich in biodiversity, featuring swampy marshlands covered in mangrove forests and home to 300 species of plants and about 250 wildlife species.

After breakfast, leave the hotel and head to Koggala, a small coastal town situated at the edge of a lagoon on the south coast of Sri Lanka. Koggala is bordered on one side by a reef and on the other by Koggala Lake, into which numerous tributaries of the Koggala Oya drain. Koggala boasts one of the longest beaches in Sri Lanka and is located close to the popular tourist resort of Unawatuna. Compared to Unawatuna, Koggala is relatively uncluttered as a tourist destination and mostly unexplored.

The park's landscape features wetland areas surrounded by dry zone tropical thorn forests. Manilkara hexandra, Hemicyclea sepieria, and Bauhinia racemosa are among the dominant flora species in the inland forests, while Sonneratia caseolaris and Typha angustifolia flourish in the Kumana villu.
