It is one of the most popular islands in the northern Adriatic, renowned for its excellent climate, hidden coves, and cool Mediterranean vibe.

On arrival, you will enjoy a guided walking tour of the island, followed by a visit to the Museum of Apoxyomenos. The museum is entirely dedicated to one exhibit - an ancient bronze statue of an athlete that was discovered in the nearby sea in 1997. It is said the statue dates back to either 2nd or 1st century BC., and the name 'Apoxyomenos' stems from a Greek term for an athlete that is cleaning his body after exercise.

While here, enjoy free time to walk up to the Lošinj Aromatic Garden or to the smaller town of Veli Lošinj. Both are easy to reach and can be explored on foot. Overnight in Mali Lošinj.

Day 4: Zadar

Location: Zadar

Accommodation Name: Onboard (Zadar)

Mali Lošinj - Zadar. This morning, we cruise towards Zadar. On the way, we will pass by Pag Island, an island with an unusual moon-like landscape. You'll visit a Roman Forum from 1st century AD and the church of St. Donatus from 9th century AD - the most famous medieval basilica and a symbol of the city. Witness the imposing and mighty city walls of the Old Port and Land Gate from 16th century AD, as well as numerous palaces and villas that once belonged to noble families.

Afterwards, enjoy time at leisure to explore the restaurants and shops that line the waterfront and centre of Zadar. Visit contemporary attractions like the one-of-a-kind Sea Organ or check out 'The Greeting to the Sun' light installation. Zadar is the perfect blend of both ancient and modern wonders. Overnight in Zadar.

The park houses 17 stunning waterfalls with cascades up to 100 metres wide, as well as the sparkling Krka River.

In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Šibenik - a town situated in the central part of Croatia's Adriatic coast. Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour that will take you to the glorious old town and explore cultural monuments, including the famous UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St James. Enjoy free time to wander around and discover the historic core and coastal waterfront of Šibenik.

Upon arrival, enjoy time at leisure to explore Croatia's oldest town, Stari Grad. The first settlers to the area were Greek, hailing from the island Paros in the Aegean Sea. They established a colony in the year 384 B.C. and named the town Pharos. Explore the smooth cobblestone streets, enjoy ancient architectural Greek influences, and feast on a tasty local for dinner. Overnight in Stari Grad.

Accommodation Name: Onboard (Split)

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

Stari Grad (Hvar) - Bol (Golden Horn) - Split. We begin the morning with a cruise to Zlatni Rat, the most famous beach in Dalmatia. The beach is nicknamed the Golden Horn because of its golden sand. The unique beach changes shape and rotation depending on the wind, tide and current. Occasionally, the tip of the beach even rotates, forming a small pool.

Enjoy lunch on board the ship as we depart towards Split. Witness unbelievable views of the surrounding seas and take plenty of pictures of the amazing Split Riviera. On arrival, join a guided city tour of the dynamic port city. During this tour, visit the medieval Old Town, including the 1,700-year old Diocletian's Palace. Split to Split Deluxe Superior - 8 days

04-Jul-2024

The Markan Ship and the crew were outstanding. The places we visited and the swim stops were incredible. The room, ship and amenities were of a very high standard. Unfortunately the food was below standard and this was reflected daily. The fruit platter was old and unappealing, the menu was sub standard, inauthentic and at times inedible. The salad bar was in particular the lettuce was dry and lifeless. The chicken on the first day was dry, the crumbed pork was not fresh at all but a frozen Pattie and the salmon at the captains dinner was over cooked. The lamb had definitely been frozen and thawed as it was just tasteless. Most meals were served with lumpy mash potatoes or dry dry scollop potatoes. On one day I went to breakfast, the bacon was near empty and frequently they packed ip and took plates away when people were still eating. It felt rushed not relaxed. One day at 8.55 there was little bacon yet a full tray of fresh bacon was on a tray seen through the galley. Not acceptable to ask. I refilled the bread myself from the pantry. The table bread was delicious smothered in olive oil. The food was atrocious and very sub standard and I was grateful to dock and eat a restaurant’s to sample genuine Croatian cuisines.
