Festive King Ramses - 13 days

I thoroughly enjoyed the Festive King Ramses tour and thought everything was handled so professionally and efficiently. Alam was an exceptional guide. From the first briefing to the final transfer to the airport he displayed professionalism, world knowledge and humour. Specific information about each day of the tour was delivered at perfect times so we always knew what was happening next and didn't have to think too far ahead of the busy schedule. His study and knowledge of Egypt's ancient sites was incredible. He did not falter on any question asked including questions on current Egyptian culture and Religions. His people skills were outstanding and he handled difficult travellers with ease and good humour. I would like to nominate Alam for the Tour Leader Award and I know most of our group would be in agreement with me on this. The hotels were nice and as described. Checking in and out of hotels was quick. Information about each hotel on arrival was never forgotten. ie breakfast times. Alam also always had good recommendations for restaurants and shopping where ever we went. The drivers were always on time and friendly. The transport was clean, spacious and comfortable. I am already recommending this tour to friends and colleagues.

The tour was well paced and structured. This gave the feeling that each site/temple we visited was better that previous one, culminating with the temple of Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. Our guide Dino was brilliant! His knowledge of Ancient Egypt was second to none and he was able to answer all of the many questions we fired at him! He has a tremendous amount of patience and handled quite a few difficult situations with professionalism. This was my second trip to Egypt but I gained so many new experiences and had an absolute blast! Thanks so much!

Hands down the best 13 days EVER! Largely due to our amazing guide Dino :) Dino wasn't just a guide, he was very much part of the group joining us for evening drinks, meals, additional excursions and generally just hanging out with us socially. It didn't feel like we were just being chaperoned around and educated on the key sites (although he did a fantastic job of that as well), Dino was more like a new friend proudly showing us his country, history and culture. He is a fantastic ambassador for On The Go Tours and Egypt in general and I 100% back him for a Leadership Award! Good Luck Dino and enormous thanks again for an amazing trip!

Hello On The Go team, I wanted to share my delight and awesome experience on our recent tour of Egypt, 14 day King Ramses tour. This trip was made special by our wonderful guide, Mahmoud Ramadan. Mahmoud looked after our group and each individual each moment, was always available for questions, a chat, a photo and how can you miss that smile, can’t help smiling with him. Mahmoud’s Egyptian knowledge was remarkable, with his excellent communication skills and talks, we came away knowing so so much more than expected, even started to understand the hieroglyphics! Now returned home to Australia , we are telling everyone we know to go Egypt, and with On The Go tours. Thanks again, and a big Thankyou to Mahmoud Ramadan.

It has been a dream of mine for many years to visit Egypt and this year I decided to stop day dreaming about going and actually book a Christmas trip. I have travelled with On The Go before so I knew that the trip would be good, but in reality it was superb and that was because of our fantastic guide Momo. Momo is one of the best tour guides I have come across. He is really passionate about Egypt and it clearly brings him great joy to share his extensive knowledge with people who are eager to soak up the rich culture and history of the country. Momo guided us around some of the most awe inspiring sights I have ever seen including the Pyramids, Philae Temple, Valley of the Kings and Karnak. This trip really was superb and I would recommend Egypt to anyone as a wonderful place to visit.

Good day All. I just wanted to type a note of appreciation. Thank you for making my first solo trip to Egypt so remarkable. As a single lady embarking on this tour I did not for a second feel unsafe or uncomfortable. I have had the wonderful opportunity to meet amazing people and that is inclusive of all your tour members. A special note of thanks to Mohamed Alam, his key notes on each monument was insightful, informative and his advice had made each experience enjoyable. I also believe his quirky sense of humour had put us all at ease. I will forever treasure the memories of this trip, have already informed my family and friends and wish you all the best! Take care and God bless
