13 nights/14 days - A Journey to Everest base camp

A representative of NepalHiking.com will greet you upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Then, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you can rest and explore the city independently.

You will take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. After landing in Lukla, you will start your trek to Phakding, a small village along the banks of the Dudh Koshi River. The trek takes around 3-4 hours.

You will cross the Dudh Koshi River and trek through beautiful forests filled with rhododendron and magnolia trees to reach the vibrant town of Namche Bazaar. The trek takes around 5-6 hours.

You will spend a day acclimatizing to the high altitude and exploring the town of Namche Bazaar. You can visit the local market and the Sherpa Museum or take a short hike to the nearby villages.

You will trek through the beautiful forests of pine and juniper trees and pass by several small villages to reach Tengboche, a small village famous for its monastery. The trek takes around 5-6 hours.

You will trek through the alpine meadows, cross several suspension bridges, and pass by several chortens and mani walls to reach the small village of Dingboche. The trek takes around 5-6 hours.

You will spend another day acclimatizing to the high altitude and exploring the village of Dingboche. Then, you can take a short trek to the nearby hills, such as Syangboche Airport or Khumjung village, to get a better view of the surrounding mountains.

You will trek through the barren and rocky terrain of the Khumbu region and reach the small village of Lobuche, located at the foot of the Khumbu Glacier. The trek takes around 5-6 hours.

You will trek to Gorak Shep, a small village located at the base of the Kala Patthar peak. From there, you will hike to the base camp of Mount Everest and explore the area. The trek takes around 7-8 hours.

You will hike to Kala Patthar, a small peak near Gorak Shep, to get a stunning sunrise view over Mount Everest. You will then return to Gorak Shep for breakfast and rest for a while.



Then you will trek from Gorak Shep to Pheriche (4,240m). Finally, you will trek back to the small village of Pheriche, passing by several small villages and enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains along the way. The trek takes around 5-6 hours.

You will trek back to Namche Bazaar, passing by the same route you took earlier. The trek takes around 6-7 hours.

You will trek down to Phakding, passing by several small villages and enjoying the scenic beauty of the Khumbu region. From Phakding, you will continue trekking to Lukla, where you will spend the night. The trek takes around 6-7 hours.

You will take an early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, you will have the rest of the day to explore the city, go shopping or relax.

Your trekking package comes to an end on this day. NepalHiking will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight back home.
