Marrakech to Merzouga - Back to Marrakech

The desert trip was truly the highlight of a great holiday. Remarkably our party of four had the undivided attention of Ismail who, with his wide knowledge and love for his country, was a superb guide and an excellent ambassador for his people. He looked after us well, and took us many places of interest by the way as we crossed the High Atlas to reach the desert, such, Aït Benhaddou Kasbah with its associations with several Epic films, then the spectacular geology of Dades and Todgha Gorges were made extremely interesting and educational, as was the visit experience of a Berber nomadic family . The camel trek at sundown as the stars appeared was truly enchanting and it was a quite biblical experience following a star till we reached the camp, the food and entertainment was great fun as we were all encouraged to join in and have a go then a bit of star gazing before bed. Up at 5am the following morning to watch the sunrise and the trek back to the hotel for breakfast the returning to Marrakech via the Draa Valley and the Ante-Atlas and High Atlas Mountains spectacular scenery all the way. Very glad we opted for Morocco Best Travels, it was great fun and extremely good value for money so we highly recommend making your booking with them.

My friends and I were VERY pleased with choosing Morocco Best Travels . We chose the 4 days Marrakesh desert tour and it was perfect. Fatima was very prompt with replying to my questions during the enquiry, She checked up on us in our hotel in Marrakech and arranged a smooth meeting process with our official tour driver guide Med, MEd was amazing throughout the tour, very knowledgable and friendly. He always ensured we were okay throughout the entire experience and we learned a lot about Morocan culture. Our first night at Dar Blues Dades was really nice and better than I would have imagined. 2nd day at Merzouga desert was absolutely magical. Camel riding was challenging but AWESOME. The Tiziri camp was such a very nice arrangement!. We were surprised to see Med join us at the dinner camp party where he played drums, sang and danced with us at the party. He later took us to the top of sand dunes to star gaze. Morocco Best Travels definitely exceeded our expectations and I highly recommend this tour group.
