3D/2N All Inclusive Pacaya Samiria Camping Tour from Iquitos

5 Stars +++++++++++++++ Words can not describe how perfect this experience was. From start to finish it was amazing. Our tour guide Edwin was over and beyond the best tour guide I’ve ever had on any trek I’ve been on. He was so knowledgeable about the jungle and the river and made sure that everyone in our group was safe and comfortable at all times. The daily excursions we did were fascinating. We met and danced with indigenous people, swam with pink dolphins in the Amazon river, fished for and ate piranhas, played with monkeys and sloths and SO much more!! My friends and I participated in the Ayahuasca ceremony which was incredibly special to all of us. We were a bit nervous going into this but again our tour guide, Edwin was with us the entire time and made sure we were safe and comfortable. Our Shaman was wise and kind and also attended to our comfort levels at all times. This was a great part of our experience and I recommend it to anyone interested. Edwin also brought us on a hike through the jungle where he taught us jungle survival techniques and various plant medicines. Absolutely incredible and fascinating. The facilities and the food were also AMAZING. We had working showers and toilets, plenty of adequate coverage from mosquitos with nets and screened in bungalows. Everything was kept very clean and comfortable. In addition, all the other staff members were so sweet and helpful. They attended to any need we had. I speak for my group of 3 females when I say Maniti Expeditions absolutely made our Amazon experience better than any of us could have imagined. We also want to again stress to the company how grateful we were for our tour guide, Edwin. He was like family to us during our time in the Amazon. Truly, my words do not do this review justice. I can’t say enough great things. I would recommend this trek to anyone and everyone!!

I went on the three days two nights tour with Maniti Expeditions. I was not disappointed at all. If you love nature this will be the best part of Peru for you. Guido was a fantastic guide and professional

A beautiful and safe journey into the amazon, guaranteed to change your perspective on the natural world and your place within it. Our guide Segundo's curiosity was contagious, and we feel so thankful to have shared our days with him! When my partner got ill, the staff and the guides came together to find solutions and medicines from the nearby town as well as the surrounding plants. Their willingness to adapt the trip around our wants and needs was inspiring. Could not recommend enough.

I visited the maniti camp in October 2020 and it was the best experience I ever had, my guide Edwin was the best guide I could have imagined. He showed me everything with so much love and patience. One day he took me to the black river, one day we went to see the dolphins, went piranha fishing, we also did a night trekking through the Amazon, and he showed me big tarantulas and all kinds of other animals. We also went to a small „zoo“ with sloths, snakes, and monkeys. Also, the food was very nice in the camp. This was really a highlight of my Peru trip and I would like to thank Edwin for the good time I had. I hope to maybe come back one day.

We had the most amazing time. Our host Edwin was so knowledgable and enthusiastic, he was very happy to answer all our questions and share lots of stories. We were given activity options so could choose things that suited our interests. The food was really nice and plenty of it. Comfortable beds and a nice seating and hammock area outside each lodge. We would definitely use this company again if we were revisiting the Amazon.
