Also the sheer boredom of crossing the lake as there is nothing to see apart from vast swathes of water.
We have overcome these issues by traveling part way round the lake in our luxury private sedan/minivan to meet up with the TonleSap River or the Mekong river (depending on weather conditions) and board our luxury special designed double hulled cruiser, the Mekong Tara Prince (once owned by the Prince of Cambodia) or our special Mekong Explorer and cruise down the beautiful Tonle Sap River and Mekong River to Phnom Penh.
This way you get to see the awesome river and rural life on the river together with rural life on land. The best of both worlds without the boredom.
Guests are picked up from their hotels or guesthouses in Siem Reap at 8am before being transferred by our luxury private air conditioned minivan to Prek Kdam on the Tonle Sap River or Roka Kaong on the Mekong River (depending on weather conditions) taking in the stunning scenery as we drive through pristine Cambodian countryside and through traditional rural villages (approx. 4 hrs).

Seeing life along the river is an amazing experience and our special vessel has a unique double hull which allows us to travel closer to the riverbanks and also explore the narrow waterways on route (approx. 4.5 hrs).

Excellent Vietnam Tours

21-Sep-23

5 of my family members and I arranged for a two week tour of Vietnam and Cambodia with help from Toni from Bravo Indochina Tours. He was very accommodating and offered many good suggestions and arranged everything perfectly. there were no unwanted surprises, some nice ones though. there were no hidden charges at all. everything was as planned and as explained to us. The hotels were exactly as promised, there were no substitutions there were no issues checking in to the hotels and they were all 4 star. I can't say which hotel was the best, they were all so nice. perhaps my favourites were the Saigon Morin hotel In Hue and the Essence Hoi An hotel and Spa in Hoi An. My least favorite would be the Grand Silverland Hotel and Spa in Ho Chi Minh. we were picked up at the airports without waiting or any issues or waiting at all. the vehicles that we used were clean, comfortable and just as promised. the drivers were great, some of them didn't speak English, but it wasn't really necessary that they did, the guides spoke English very well. I can't remember the name of our driver in Hue and Hoi An, but his English was great, we got to meet one of his children in Hoi An. what really made the trip was our guides, each one of them had a different quality. what they had in common was a love for their country and a willingness to make sure we had an enjoyable and safe trip. Our guides were Mr. Thanh in Hanoi, Ms. Nguyen in Hue and Hoi An, Ms. Han in Saigon, Mr. Sophea and Mr. Chong San in Siem Reap. If I had to pick the best it would be Mr. Chong San, he was fantastic. As I said earlier each had their own strength. dinners were not included in our itinerary but we were given great suggestions for dinner whenever we asked. all the restaurants we went to were clean, comfortable and unique. we had quite a variety, and I don't think any disappointed. the guides in Cambodia were quite different than the guides in Vietnam, but represented their countries very well and were reflective of the differences in the two countries. tips: I wish we had stayed another day in Hoi An and another night on the Halong Bay Cruise, if you want clothes made we had a good experience In Hoi An at Rubin's. I would recommend taking a favourite shirt with you so you can get exactly what you want. maybe a day or two more of downtime

Excellent Holiday in Vietnam

12-Oct-23

Our journey through Vietnam was nothing short of exceptional, all thanks to Bravo Indochina Tours. If you're fortunate enough to have Cathy as your itinerary mastermind, you're in for the smoothest trip imaginable. Cathy was outstanding right from the start, crafting the entire journey to align perfectly with our desires. Our guides, Tu?n and Victor, were the cherry on top of our experience. Their profound knowledge and insightful commentary added layers of history and culture to our adventure. This trip stands out as one of the best I've ever embarked on, and I'm no stranger to globetrotting. Without a doubt, I'll turn to Bravo Indochina Tours again for future travel plans in different countries. This journey struck the ideal balance between immersing us in authentic Vietnamese culture and exploring iconic tourist destinations.

Our two weeks in Indochina were seamlessly organized, thanks to the fantastic coordination by Toni. Quick email responses were consistent throughout the trip. The experiences were amazing, with a special highlight being the homestay lunch we recommend asking for more of these. The variety of temples was impressive, each distinct from the last. A word of caution: Halong Bay can get extremely busy during excursions, and we would consider spending more to avoid crowds in the future. The tour company was faultless, offering plenty of opportunities to customize the tour to our preferences. We particularly appreciated the smaller, friendlier hotels and wish we had requested more of them.We have just booked our second trip with Bravo Tours and it always professional and helpful at all times

incredible our trip to Vietnam

9-May-23

The tour was absolutely fantastic, and I had an amazing time throughout. Our guide was exceptional, consistently going above and beyond to provide us with an authentic immersion into the country. From spontaneous rides in tuk-tuks to local restaurants, insightful advice on regional dishes, and a wealth of fascinating facts about Thailand, our guide ensured an enriching experience. The group size, consisting of 12 individuals, was ideal. This allowed us the flexibility to explore destinations swiftly without being bound to a large bus. It fostered spontaneity and enabled us to uncover hidden gems such as small local restaurants and unique delicacies. The intimate group setting, where everyone shared similar expectations and desires for the tour, truly enhanced the overall value of the experience.
