Excellent Wine Trip--Highly Recommend!

21-Jun-2023

This was a small-group ride in the wine country outside of Bucharest, and it was wonderful! Part paved, part gravel road. About 20km in total, mostly flat. We had two wonderful vineyard stops. Both were VERY generous with the tastings and provided more than enough snacks, to include local cheese and charcuterie. It was a really awesome day! Highly recommend. The guide/owner Ionut was excellent and super nice, as was his wife who provided the van support.

The wine route by bicycle

22-Nov-2022

Had an amazing day cycling through little villages, visiting a church and tasting lovely wines. Ionut was fantastically prepared, helpful, kind and thoughtful. We chatted throughout the trip and he gave me loads of advice re traveling in Romania on a bike. The trip was exactly what I had hoped it would be. I’m even going back tomorrow :) Absolutely recommend!
