Requirements

Passengers should bring only soft-sided bags on safaris. All the passengers must have a valid Identification Card/Passports with them for internal flights. Travellers’ cheques generally are not accepted in East Africa. US banknotes cannot be older than 2008 and must have the most current security markings (large portrait of the presidents). Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.

Please Note

• 1 pax booking is assigned to a single room. For 2 adults and more, prices are per person sharing a double room. Single room supplement is available for 2 adults and more, at additional cost (Single supplement optional extra)
• Gorilla permits once purchased cannot be cancelled, transferred or amended as the number of permits sold are restricted and have a very high demand for them
• Baggage allowance for the flights is strictly limited to 15 KG in soft-sided duffle bags
• All Passengers must do the same activity
• Children under 15 years of age are not allowed to do the gorilla tracking 
• The package price is based on trekking at the Buhoma family. In the event that we do not get permits at Buhoma, we may secure Ruhija and a surcharge will apply
• We reserve the right to change itineraries and activities due to weather conditions, technical problems or security reasons
• Early check-in, late check-out, connecting or adjoining rooms in the hotel are subject to availability and not guaranteed
• In many hotels in Uganda, the triple rooms are double rooms with an additional bed or sofa bed. Their comfort conditions are lower than the international standards of the triple room
• No refund for unused services. Splitting of the package is not allowed
